Sydney CBD run community leaders
Grace
Grace is an avid run club runner. With a passion for community and connection, she’s headed up a few run clubs in Sydney over the past five years. Although always sporty, she was never a long distance runner until she got the itch in her mid-20s and has been hooked ever since. For Grace, running is more than just being active — it’s about the incredible friendships and connections made along the way. Running in clubs where men outnumber women, she is passionate about creating a welcoming space for women to connect, be themselves and support one another. For her, it’s not about race times or personal bests — it’s about showing up, having fun, and feeling strong. She’s always up for a chat, trot, laugh and coffee.
Kate
Kate is a social runner, starting her journey at her local park run, she soon transitioned into the social world of run clubs and finally finding her stride with Femmi. When the suggestion of starting a Femmi community in Sydney CBD community arose, Kate jumped at the opportunity to share her love of running around Sydney Harbour. Each week is an exciting new journey as we mix new runners with more experienced runners and the occasional runner on holiday. There is never a lack of conversation, and the post run coffee is as important to her as the run.
