Join us every Friday morning for Femmi Friday - a women’s, free-to-attend run in Mt Maunganui. All levels are welcome. No need to register in advance, just show up, check in, and hit the pavement with us. After the run, stick around for coffee and chats with a community of like-minded women.

Run leader for Femmi Friday run in Mt Maunganui, guiding women runners in a community-focused jog.
Simone
Simone has always been a runner, starting her running journey in track and field as a sprinter specialising in 100m - 200m she has now transitioned into an endurance athlete. Her favourite distance is 10km road but also dabbles in trail and even ultras! She loves anything to do with running and being outside. Simone has a background in exercise and sports science. She is also a yoga and pilates instructor and has a huge passion for all things relating to women’s health and movement. Simone loves everything Femmi stands for and is incredibly proud to be a Femmi RC leader.

Laura
Laura’s passion for running began at a young age. With a background as a teenage athlete and experience as a yoga and Pilates instructor, Laura understands the importance of listening to our bodies and finding joy in movement. Her journey through mental health challenges and body image struggles has fuelled her desire to create a positive and empowering environment for women to thrive. Laura runs not just for fitness, but for joy and freedom, and she is excited to help others do the same with Femmi.
