Dunedin run community leaders
Becky Aitkenhead
Becky has been a competitive runner since she was a young girl. She has a lot of love for the sport of running as it has enabled her to travel and meet new people all over the world. The system in high performance sport is somewhat broken for women, so starting as a Femmi run coach three years ago was an awesome way to bridge the gap between the current systems in place and get closer to the change we need to see for women in sport. Being a Femmi run leader in Dunedin is a way to extend this education and get the community involved in the Femmi movement.
Georgia
Georgia started running to help with her football career and hasn’t stopped since. Still an avid footballer, running is also a massive passion of her’s, having been a competitive runner for many years now. Georgia is a sports scientist and performance nutritionist with a passion for sport & helping athletes to reach their potential. She has a love for sport and the Femmi mission, she can’t wait to see you at Femmi RC Dunedin for a run, a coffee and a catch up.
Becky de la Harpe
Becky has always had a passion for sport and while individual triathlon and running events are where she excels, the team aspects of the training and competitions fuel her love for the sport. Becky is a law student at Otago University who always balances her study days with some much needed movement. She loves a cheeky track session and any excuse for a long run or bike-ride with friends. Becky is proud to lead Femmi RC Dunedin and looks forward to meeting more like-minded women for some Femmi-Friday morning fun!
