Christchurch run community leaders
Bex
Bex is the Femmi Strength Expert, Sports Scientist and one of the Christchurch Run Leaders. She ran competitively as a teenager before transitioning into strength training and pursuing a coaching career. Now she runs the odd 10km or half marathon but mostly enjoys getting runners stronger and inspiring them to be better all round athletes.
Lahana
Lahana is an avid runner, whose passion for the sport started when her twin sister dragged her along for a training session. Since then she’s never looked back! Lahana enjoys the social side of running and is always up for a jog with a side of chit chat. However most weekends you can find her racing at the track for her local club! During the week Lahana lives at the hospital where she works as an occupational therapist, often challenging her patients to a race or two. Lahana is looking forward to seeing you all at the Femmi RC Christchurch!
Billy
Liberty AKA Billy started running 5 years ago and hasn't stopped since. Billy works full-time as a community physiotherapist and is passionate about helping people improve their Hauora (health and wellbeing) through movement and connection. Billy is a semi-competitive runner who loves everything to do with the sport especially plodding, dog-spotting, yapping, and reminding people “it's not that deep”.
Caitlin
Caitlin has always loved running and has grown up in the competitive running community. Originally from Wellington and now studying engineering in Christchurch, running has always been a way to keep herself grounded and happy. She loves nothing more than a yap around Hagley Park or a plod across the Port Hills, followed by a post run coffee. Femmi is an excellent way to share the fabulous sport of running to a wider community, and connect with like-minded *women who run.
